I write of my arrival to the city of Asgard the day after, first of all because of my need to purchase this journal, but also to discover the way to date the entries. After speaking with both the natives of Asgard and those who were brought here like myself, I have discovered two methods for documenting the passage of time. The method of the Champions is the number of days since the first arrived. After looking through the network, it seems to be 63 days since the first arrival.
The other form is of the natives, and is more descriptive. The natives of Asgard do not use months, but instead seasons. I was told that each season is 45 days, and it is currently the 10th day of spring, which would put my arrival at the 9th day. The year by their system is 416, the new year taking place on the first day of spring. I have drawn a calendar to correspond both systems after this entry. I have kept to the seven day weeks to keep to a form easily translatable and understandable, though this is rather arbitrary. ((ooc; since the pace of the game is one IC day == 2 OOC days, there's... no good measure for days of the week. It also kind of doesn't exist in Asgard, so I don't recommend using Diana's calendar to tell the IC day of the week.))

Upon my arrival, I received a letter, which can be found at the back of this journal. [Which it is] However, upon arriving in the city, I found that color seemed to have completely returned. I was informed by residents that this was a recent development, and I have reason to believe that this is a deception, though time will tell. I also received a basic map of the city and the bracelet to be used for communication with the other residents of the city. The bracelet that I was given upon arrival seems to use holographic technology not unlike what we would use in the Justice League, but I imagine that it is instead powered by magic.
I gave an address to the residents as well as the gods themselves, though I received no answer from the gods. All of those who responded were extremely helpful with providing me information, from the nature of the city to the more practical matters of employment. Below is a list of the names of those who provided information, and I have included a star by the names of those who seemed particularly knowledgeable—that is, those who were able to provide detailed information and who I would recommend contacting with further questions.
Yuri was helpful in providing information about the nature of the gods and Conan about the nature of our new-found abilities. They provided links to posts about each subject, the contents of which I will summarize, but I recommend contacting them for the links to read the information in full.
Yuri provided three posts from the gods themselves, of which I found these to be the most important information:
From Odin, regarding the war:
This world is called Yggdrasil, and is divided into several countries. Most of the names of the countries were not provided. However, the ones that were provided were
Muspellheim, ruled by the fire giant, King Surt
Thrymheim, ruled by the frost giant, Queen Thiazi
Utgard, a neutral territory
The war that we fight is one that has been going on for eternity.
Prophecies have foretold that Yggdrasil will grow sick, at which point fire and frost will battle the gods. This war is called Ragnarok.
This war will destroy both sides, and the world will be reborn.
Yggdrasil is the world above other worlds, which is why we were summoned here. The destruction of Yggdrasil means the destruction of our worlds.
The gray of the city is the foretold sickness.
Our original powers are incompatible with Yggdrasil.
From Loki, regarding general questions
The date given by Loki for this post was the first day of Spring, the beginning of a new year. Year 416 of the Last Era.
The city was once very vibrant. Enough to have a "nightlife."
Our absences from home will not be noticed. Time has effectively stopped from where we were taken.
If we are successful, we may be returned to our homeworlds. Baldr did not guarantee this. The dead will not be returned.
The Eras are marked by 1000 years passing.
There was a quarantine 38 years ago (as mentioned by a Champion—Shion)
Likely related to the grey sickness—Loki was very vague with answering questions.
We are the "medicine."
The bracelets act as our protection against the sickness. If they are taken off, we will be infected.
The stabbings were done on purpose. The emotion released when we or those we care about is hurt is just as useful in restoring the color.
The stories/myths of the Norse gods that we know may not apply to these gods. "The stories tend to get warped when they trickle down into your worlds," as Loki said.
Loki characterizes the ruler of Utgard as "weird" and "dodgy."
Our placement into houses was because a god felt "drawn" to us.
Talking to the locals is our "job."
Those that die and are revived in the city will become "damaged" after a while.
The increase in the strength of powers is a reward for doing our part to help restore life to the city.
The disappearance of travelers was explained as the patron losing track of them. We were brought here by each god individually, and sometimes they lose their grip on the person, or if a person is not doing enough to help, they are sent back to their worlds to conserve the god's energy.
From Baldr, berating and mocking the Champions
We are called Travelers. I will be using this term instead of Champion henceforth.
Baldr's opinions are not shared by all of the gods.
Returning the powers of some travelers was a decision by all of the gods, so that we may understand the incompatibility of our powers.
Baldr was "grounded" by Odin. I am not sure what that entails.

Conan was also able to provide information about the nature of the abilities of each house. Again, this is a rough summary, and should be researched more if necessary.

Roughly half of this was provided by Conan himself, and the other half from a guide created by Sam Winchester. I recommend tracking this down, though it is a more opinionated guide and should be read with a clear mind. Most everything his guide has been covered, so I will not summarize it.

In terms of general information from the Travelers I spoke with, I was able to learn the following from each person, if it has not been covered above:
Sora: A dragon attacked the city at some point. Some Travelers met loved ones, who were then stabbed. Some Travelers regained their powers, but died shortly afterwards. Merlin is attempting to organize a system where Travelers learn how to use their powers. Johan: The color of the city has reappeared within the past couple of days. Death is not permanent. Hanako: There is general distrust of the gods. Yuri: A fog suddenly descended on the city, but when it was gone, color had returned. The Fire King introduced himself with a dragon. The Ice Queen did the same with ice fairies. Elika: There is an attempt by the Travelers to create a justice system. Hisao: There is a great library in Odin containing books from many worlds and times, but nothing about this world.
For details on any of this, please see the post that I made.
[and, as promised, here's the calendar]

OOC; Remember, the day of the week does not correspond in any way to what the actual OOC day of the week is, or really, in any way to an IC measure. Check the Schedule for the OOC date. Oh, and click the thumbnails for a bigger view, obviously.
